Why We Exist

Solace & Inkwell was created as a quiet creative outlet for curiosity, reflection, imagination, and wonder.

Whether you're here for a journal, a coloring book, a crystal, a handmade craft, or simply to wander for a while, our hope is that you leave feeling a little more inspired than when you arrived.

We believe creativity should be accessible. Our goal is to design beautiful, reasonably priced things that bring moments of peace, imagination, and well-being, while allowing us to continue making a living from the creative work we love.

How We Create

Every product begins as an idea, and every finished design remains part of our creative property.

We sketch, write, edit, experiment, revise, and refine our projects ourselves. We also use modern tools, including artificial intelligence, as part of the design process to help explore ideas, improve concepts, and bring larger creative visions to life.

Our Handmade Crafts

All handcrafted items are made by hand in the United States. Whenever possible, materials are locally or responsibly sourced.

If a craft contains duck feathers, those feathers come from our own backyard feathered friends. Every feather is 100% naturally molted and collected only after it has been shed.

We never pluck feathers. We never harm our ducks. No animals are ever injured in the making of our crafts. Our feathered friends are free-range, loved, and family first.
